This situation cannot improve, till stringent action is taken against the TV channels telecasting programmes with objectionable aspects. Licences of such channels need to be cancelled, if they do not apply self-restraint. The show had certain participants pulling off the underwear of another. Celebrities in India are role models for commoners and the telecast of such scenes, can tend to make such obscene and vulgar activities, a regular routine in entertainment and parties in day to day life.
Before this show, it was the reality format Sach ka Saamna, which had raised the ire of the parliament and received a similar notice from the I&B ministry. However, the channel continued to broadcast the show till its last scheduled episode. The notice was not useful for anything, except to raise the popularity of the controversial show, which had even resulted in suicide and spoilt relationships amongst spouses and families.
