ICC T20 world cup highlights: India Vs South Africa
India gave a target of 186 runs to South Africa. It was a thrilling end; South Africa could not reach the set target. South Africa scored 172 runs after loss of five wickets. This is India's second consecutive win in ICC T20 World Cup 2010.
AT ST Lucia, West Indies, a big match was played between South Africa and India. India won the match by 14 runs. This is India’s second consecutive win in International Cricket Council (ICC) T20 World Cup 2010. Earlier India beat debutant Afghanistan in their first match.
 
South Africa won the toss and elected to field first asking India to bat. Unfortunately, Murali Vijay was out for duck in the very first over of the game and that put responsibility on other players of team. Kartik went to pavilion at 32 runs.

Going into the game without an indisposed Gautam Gambhir and a 'rested' Zaheer Khan, India were in the woods at 32 for two in the sixth over. It was big partnership between SK Raina and Yuvraj Singh, which put India in a comfortable condition. Raina made the game for India by scoring the first hundred and become third batsman to have hit a T20 hundred after Chris Gayle and Brendon McCullum. Dhoni ended the innings with a six as India scored a mammoth 75 runs off the last five overs. India scored 186/5.

India gave a target of 186 runs for South Africa to chase. It was a thrilling end; South Africa could not reach the set target. South Africa scored 172 runs after the loss of five wickets.

 
The victory saw India into Super Eights stage.
