If you cannot write poetry, try your hand on anti-poetry as emergent language art
There are a few writers who have taken to writing anti-poems and making wave. This language art has become popular with commoners and subject experts in knowledge areas other than the language experts and literature writers to express themselves briefly without bothering about commonly accepted conventions of traditional poetry as part of mainstream literature.

Though, initiators of anti-poetry, Nicanor Parra and Elias Petropoulos, were active in the 1950s and they believed that conventional poetry lacked the mystic power. Often their poems were more of prose lines, which were either irreverent to conventions and belief thinking or illuminating the humans' existential aspects. However, there were not many takers of this language art in the 20thcentury.

Since anti-poets do not subscribe for conventional norms of the writer within his language competence, deliberate or otherwise, the mistakes with regard to prosody, grammar and rhyme are permitted.

Early anti-poets were against poetry which centred around human desires, gratifications and love as a kick of mind. In nutshell, anti-poetry is anti-sentimentalism and harsh on desires. At times, to some people anti-poems may sound ugly, repulsive and shocking, but to some others they could be revealing.

In digital age, anti-poetry has been picked up in which punctuation is minimal and is only used when deemed necessary. It incorporates new vocabulary, images and scenes in the age of technology and emerging life style.

Here is my attempt on the mystic form of anti-poetry.

Renounce all desires. Never ever fall for them. To set yourself free.

For being at peace, For eternal peace of mind, Just be desireless.

Give up all desires, Renounce desires, not actions. Desires are devilish.

Desires disunite, Desires breed divisive ego, Distance you from soul.

Desire not, rise up. Desires unleash in-devil. They're cause of sorrow.

Desires degrade you. Desires make you sub-human. Desires breed grabbers.

Wanna be happy, Renounce all desires of yours. Just act, aspire not.

Desires leash and lead. Desires externalise you, Away from your true self.

Only humans're free to renounce their desires. Use freedom of yours.

Renounce all desires. Divinity will arise. True self will shine forth.
