IIFA Awards 2011 on June 25, SRK and Salman clash again
During the three days show of IIFA Awards 2011 in Toronto in Canada, which is going to start from today, the who's who from Bollywood are all set to enthrall almost 700 million people around the world.
THE BIGGEST global award function in Indian cinema, the International Indian Film Academy Award (IIFA) 2011 is going to kick-start from today at Toronto in Canada. Karan Johar and Anushka Sharma will host the twelfth edition of IIFA Awards in front of 22,000 people at Rogers Centre and the Music & Fashion Extravaganza at the Ricoh Coliseum on Saturday, June 25.

During the IIFA awards, awards will be presented in 27 categories including popular awards, special awards and technical awards.

In the IIFA Awards 2011, Bollywood blockbuster of 2010, Salman Khan starrer "Dabangg" and Shah Rukh Khan starrer "My Name Is Khan" are nominated in Best Film, Best Direction, Best Actor, Music Direction, Lyrics and Screenplay categories.

In the "Best Film" category of the IIFA Awards 2011, Band Baaja Baaraat, Dabangg, My Name Is Khan, Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai and Raajneeti have been nominated, and in the "Best Direction" category Maneesh Sharma for Band Baaja Baaraat, Abhinav Kashyap for Dabangg, Sanjay Leela Bhansali for Guzaarish, Karan Johar for My Name Is Khan, Milan Luthria for Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai and Vikramaditya Motwane for Udaan are among the nominees.

In the "Best Performance In A Leading Role - Male" Salman Khan for Dabangg, Hrithik Roshan for Guzaarish, Shah Rukh Khan for My Name Is Khan, Ajay Devgn for Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai and Ranbir Kapoor for Raajneeti are nominated, whereas in the "Best Performance In A Leading Role - Female" Anushka Sharma for Band Baaja Baaraat, Kareena Kapoor for Golmaal 3, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for Guzaarish, Vidya Balan for Ishqiya and Katrina Kaif for Raajneeti are in the nominations list.
