IIT conducted its Joint Entrance Exam called IITJEE on 11th April 2010. This year about 4.72 lakh engineering aspirants took the IITJEE exam for 10000 seats in the India's most premiere engineering colleges.
The IITs are the group of Institute which is established by the Ministry of Human Resources and Development, Government of India through parliamentary act. IIT JEE 2010 is conducted by the IIT Madras for the fifteen IITs located in Bhubaneswar, Bombay (Mumbai), Delhi, Gandhinagar, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras (Chennai), Mandi, Patna, Punjab, Rajasthan and Roorkee and the IT-BHU and the Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad.
IIT JEE 2010 results will be available on websites of IITs. Students can see details about IVRS and other ways to check results on the back cover page of their JEE prospectus. Candidates who appeared for the Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Examination 2010 are advised to check their result on the official websites of IITs.
After the IITJEE results are declared on today, high scoring candidates selected will be called for counseling for admission into various IITs all over India. Qualified candidates will fill their preference, and on the basis of availability of seats per course and institute, they will be allotted a seat in the prestigious IIT.
