In Andhra Pradesh everybody wants to be CM
Andhra Pradesh politics is so insecure the everybody in the Congress wants to be the Chief Minister after the death of YSR. Now, it is the turn of PCC President Botsa to try his luck.
IN ANDHRA PRADESH, it is the turn of Botsa Satyanarayana President of PCC, who wants to occupy the Chief Minister chair chair. Soon after he was made Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) President, he has started his plans to occupy the chair. He directly or indirectly tells the AICC through letters or orally, that the present Chief Minister Nallari Kirankumar Reddy is weak and is in capable to continue in the office. He himself feels as if he was the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. He also revealed his desire of becoming Chief Minister soon after taking over PCC's reigns. Kiran Kumar Reddy, the Chief Minister, is opposite to Botsa Satyanarayana and he had also advised the AICC President Sonia Gandhi.

But Sonia had wanted to put a check on Kiran by making Botsa as PCC chief. Since then, the Congress party in Andhra has become divided though it is not public. The adamant Kiran Kumar Reddy has been coming down and is wooing the young and old MLAs to break the plans of PCC president. The PCC president has changed plans and has started to tour districts to attract the cadre almost like a Chief Minister. He started his district tours with East Godavari where his community is predominant. Later, he went to Krishna district, particularly Vijayawada, which is known to be the political capital of Andhra Pradesh there he inaugurated the statue of late YSR amidst chaos.

Both the tours have been great failures. The second one eyeing the chief minister's seat is Deputy Chief Minister Damodar Raja Narasimha. Stylish and over-confident in character, now he moves with the colleagues and fellow MLAs in a flexible manner. His main drawback is community. He belongs to Schedule Caste sub sect Madiga. With all these, Andhra Pradesh has become, once again, been thrown in a phase of anxiety and confusion.
