In pics: Cocktail ceremony of Yuvraj Singh and Hazel Keech; Team India attends
The celebrations have begun in the year's most anticipated big fat Punjabi wedding. Cricketer Yuvraj Singh and British-Mauritian model-turned-Bollywood actress Hazel Keech will exchange wedding vows today.

The couple got officially engaged at a gala ceremony held at The Lalit Chandigarh on Tuesday evening. The City Beautiful is gearing up for the 10-day-long wedding affair that has been termed `Yuvraj Hazel Premiere League'.

A long list of celebrities from the entertainment, sports and world of politics turned up for Tuesday's ceremony. Both the bride and groom to-be, stole the limelight and looked ravishing.

While Yuvraj sizzled in his black velvet bandhgala, paired with a white churidar and black jootis, completing his Punjabi gabru look with a well-trimmed beard, Hazel looked dazzling in her white lehenga with a plain Benarasi border and a sleeveless jacket with heavy gota work.

The much relaxed players of the Indian cricket team who beat England inside four days at Mohali on Tuesday and are coincidentally staying at the same hotel also made their presence felt. Indian skipper Virat Kohli, Murali Vijay, Parthiv Patel and Ishant Sharma were the first ones to arrive.

Other cricketers to grace the occasion were Ashish Nehra, Mohammad Kaif and former Indian captain Kapil Dev. However, the surprise guest of the evening was Yuvraj's father Yograj Singh.

Former cricketer-turned-Punjabi actor, Yograj Singh had publicly said that he would not be attending his son Yuvraj's wedding. But by marking the event with his presence and gladly posing for shutterbugs, he put all rumours to rest.
