In the by-polls the electorate happily voted for YS Jagan
The YSR Congress party has swept the bye-polls that were held recently. The main opposition party TDP was completely swept away, and did not get a single seat. The Congress has won a couple of seats.

Mr. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has registered a thumping victory and was greatly honored by the electorate in the by-elections recently held in Andhra Pradesh. The YSR Congress Party has won the 15 Assembly seats and a Loksabha seat out of 18 Assembly and one Loksabha seat, which went to polls on 12th of this month.  

The Congress party victory was confined to two assembly seats and the main opposition party TDP has failed to capture any seat.

The YSR Congress Party has won Narasannapet (Srikakulam), Payakaraopet (Vizag), Polavaram (West Godavari), Pattipadu and Macherla (Gunturu), Ongole (prakasm), Udayagiri (Nellore), Rajampet, Railway Koduru and Rayachoti (Kadapa), Allagadda and Emmiganuru (Karnool), Rayadurgam and Anantapur Urban (Anantapuram), Tirupati (Chitoor) assembly constituencies and Nellore Parliamentary seat.

The Congress has won Ramachandrapuram of East Godavari and Narsapuram of West Godavari districts.

The TRS is victorious in Parkal of Warangal District. Even in Telangana the YRS wind is heavy and TRS has managed to get the seat with a slender margin of 1500. TDP the main opposition party has lost all the seats.

The Nellore MP elect Mekapati Rajamohana Reddy has defeated his nearest rival and Congress candidate Mr. T. Subbarami Reddy who was a former central Minister with a big margin of two lakhs and ninety thousands.

After the results, the YSR Congress Party Honorable President and mother of YSJagan who is in Prison went to him and explained the results. She said that it was the victory of people. In the by-elections the YSR Congress party polled 49 percent and Congress 22.63 and TDP 21.99.
