Inaugural Formula 1 tickets to go on sale from June
The inaugural race of the Formula 1 Indian Grand Prix, which is to be held in October 28-30 has, already made news for the tickets. The tickets will be available from Rs 2,500 to Rs 35 lakhs, as informed by CEO and MD Sameer Gaur.
THE LONG awaited Formula 1 Indian Grand Prix tickets will be available from as early as next month, as per media reports. The tickets for the inaugural Indian Grand Prix, which is scheduled for October 28-30 at the Jaypee Integarted Sports Complex in Greater Noida, begin from Rs 2,500 for the weekend.
The Jaypee Integarted Sports Complex in Greater Noida is arguably one of largest  privately funded investment in the world with an investment of over Rs 1,700 crore. Although official ticket prices have not yet been released, it is anticipated that the Formula 1 Indian Grand Prix tickets will range anywhere between Rs 2,500 to Rs 35 lakh. The Rs 35 lakh ticket comes with a paddock pass for the weekend.
Speaking to reporters, MD and CEO of Jaypee Sports International Limited (JPSI) Sameer Gaur said on Friday that the authorities are in the final stages of deciding the Formula 1 Indian Grand Prix ticket bracket as they want to attract as many people not just from Delhi/NCR, but also from other regions. He also informed that the ticket prices for the grandstand for the upcoming inaugural Indian Grand Prix is priced between Rs 30,000 to Rs 35,000.
However, students can easily make the most of it as tickets will be offered at discounted rates. The event, which can easily accommodate about 120,000 people, has also got the authorities contemplating providing feeder bus services from the metro stations towards the venue.
