Corporation Bank's (CB) saving/current account campaign was inaugurates at the bank's Sector-8 branch office in Chandigarh yesterday. The campaign was inaugurated by Dr. Zora Singh and Smt.Tajinder Kaur of Desh Bhagat Group of Institutes.

CORPORATION BANK’S saving/current account campaign was inaugurates at the bank’s Sector-8 branch office in Chandigarh yesterday. The campaign was inaugurated by Dr. Zora Singh, Chairman of Desh Bhagat Group of Institutes and Smt.Tajinder Kaur, Vice Chairperson of the group, by lighting the lamp. In his speech, Dr. Zora highlighted that the people could build up a strong society with the help of good banking system. "Banks, as we all know, are the life of a business in particular and of the entire social structure in general. It is impossible to move forward in any business without your hand being held by caring banker," Dr. Zora said.

He further said that Desh Bhagat Group had enjoyed a long and fruitful association with Corporation Bank.

Our association has been made all the more enjoyable by the professional and affable nature of officials of the bank, namely Mr. Karthikeyan VS (DGM & Zonal Head) and H Panduranga Mallya (AGM). The bank is holding a savings/current account campaign in all its branches throughout India from July 25. The campaign will continue for three months.

Smt. Tajinder Kaur, in her speech spoke about the environment and the NGO 'Hara Punjab Hara Samaj'. She also called for support from all concerned parties to make the world pollution free. The bank employees highly appreciated her concern for the environment and expressed desire to support 'Hara Punjab Khara samaj' campaign.

On his part, HP Mallya, Asst. Gen. Manager of the bank, thanked the guests for sparing some time from their busy schedules to take part in the event.
