INDIA IS on the top batting first against South Africa in the India Vs South Africa 2nd One-day international match being played today at Gwalior on February 24. India started poorly losing the first wicket of Virender Sehwag in the India Vs South Africa ODI match, but little maestro Sachin Tendulkar and wicketkeeper batsman Dinesh Karthik have put India in a strong position.

India is batting at 260 for the loss of two wickets in the Ind Vs SA 2nd ODI, with master blaster Sachin Tenulkar playing at 151 runs, which included some imperious hits to the fence. However, Tendulkar was ably assisted by Dinesh Karthik, who played brilliantly for his 79 runs made in 85 balls and included three huge sixes and 4 boundaries.

Sachin Tendular started his inning aggressively and completed his fifty in mere 50 balls. He continued to play some wonderful shots and reached his 46th hundred in style, thus extending his record of maximum number of one-day hundreds to 46.

Yousuf Pathan is playing along with Sachin Tendulkar, after the loss of Dinesh Karthik's wicket.

The manner in which the little master is playing, it is likely that Sachin Tendulkar would look forward to complete a double century. If he is able to achieve this goal then it would be another feather in his accomplished cap.

Earlier the toss of India Vs South Africa 2nd one day match was won by skipper Mahindra Singh Dhoni, who decided to bat first on the placid track. India will want to win this match and seal the India Vs South Africa one-day series.

Teams:

India: MS Dhoni (captain), SR Tendulkar, V Sehwag, V Kohli, SK Raina, YK Pathan, KD Karthik, RA Jadeja, P Kumar, A Nehra, S Sreesanth

South Africa: JH Kallis (captain), HM Amla, HH Gibbs, AB de Villiers, JP Duminy, AN Petersen, MV Boucher†, RE van der Merwe, WD Parnell, DW Steyn, CK Langeveldt.

Ind Vs SA 2nd ODI is likely to be a thriller.

The big question is will Sachin Tendulkar be able to complete a double century. What is your take?
