The ministry of Women and Child Development Secretary, Anil Kumar has been made Secretary in the ministry of Parliamentary Affairs in place of PJ Thomas. K Chandramouli, a 1975 batch IAS officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre, has been transferred and posted as Secretary in the Department of AIDS Control, under the ministry of Health and Family Welfare. He was formerly posted as Central Provident Fund Commissioner under the ministry of Labour and Employment.

 

Stuti Narain Kackar, Additional Secretary of the ministry of Information and Broadcasting, has been transferred to the Board for Reconstruction of Public Sector Enterprises, as Secretary in the ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises.

 

Meanwhile, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), has approved the appointment of Christy L Fernandez as the Secretary to the President of India, after his superannuation as re-employment on contract basis, with the tenure of the President.

 

In another move, he 1974 batch Uttar Pradesh cadre, IAS officer Atul Chaturvedi, who was posted as Secretary in the Department of Fertilisers has been transferred to the Steel ministry in the same rank. Moreover, Uttarakhand cadre, IAS officer S Krishnan, will now be the new Secretary in the Department of Fertilisers after promotion. He was posted as Additional Secretary in the ministry of Labour and Employment.
