INDIA ART summit 2009 to be held in New Delhi from 19th to 22 August 2009 to showcase India’s Modern and Contemporary Art at ITPO, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

In 2008, its very first year, India Art Summit™ attracted over 10,000 art enthusiasts over a span of three days. The visitors included art collectors, artists, critics, curators and students from across India and overseas. There were 34 exhibiting galleries at the fair and they exhibited over 550 contemporary & modern artworks and sold over 50 per cent, making India Art Summit™ one of the most successful first editions of an art fair across the world.

Now in the Year 2009, the second edition of India’s international art fair, it promises to be much larger; showcasing the most diverse range of modern and contemporary paintings, sculpture, photography, mix media, prints, drawings and video art by established and upcoming artists.
