India continues to be the No. 1 team in ICC test ranking
India which is the number one team with 129 points was given a huge difference with New Zealand with 80 points before the commencement of the series. Whereas Kiwi's earned two rating points as they managed to draw the first two tests.
WITH THE win in the third and last test match of the three test match series against New Zealand leading 1-0 series win, India continues to be the no. 1 team as per ICC test ranking. South Africa and Sri Lanka reserved their berths at second and third positions respectively. India, which is the number one team with 129 points was given a huge difference with New Zealand with 80 points before the commencement of the series. Whereas Kiwi's earned two rating points as they managed to draw the first two test matches of the series and gain a place in the rankings chart.
Indian team had expected to win the series very convincingly as the difference between the ratings points of the two teams was 52 before the start of the series. But due to fighting spirit of the Kiwis, they earned 2 valuable rating point and costing team India one rating point.
