India face series defeat against Bangladesh, captain MS Dhoni says he is ready to quit
It is really very unfortunate event for the captain MS Dhoni that a far better team like India, led by very capable man, lost two ODIs consecutively against Bangladesh and the series also. Therefore, the captain is bound to face the heat. On a different note, off late the personal performance of MSD, as a batsman has not been very impressive.

During the recent past, the overall performance of Team India especially during tour of Australia, was also not up to the mark. To make the things worst, ouster of Team India from the World Cup in the semis also provided a chance to the critics. So from quite a while now, India captain is facing fire from every corner.

MS Dhoni, facing severe criticism all around, in a rather sarcastic tone has said that if his removal from captaincy can help Indian cricket move forward in right direction, then he is game for it.

"I am always the one who is responsible for anything bad that happens in Indian cricket. Everything that happens is because of me. Even the Bangladesh media is smiling," Dhoni replied to a question at the post-match press conference about how much responsibility of this series loss lies with him.

Although, when the similar question was asked differently about how long he would continue as captain, he insisted that he would continue but not before taking a dig at the scribe.

Dhoni said that he was really enjoying his cricket. "But when the earlier question was asked, I knew this question was coming. These questions always popping me. The media loves me. If it is justifiable if you remove me and the Indian cricket will start doing well, and if I am the reason for all the bad that's happening to Indian cricket, definitely I would love to step away and play as a player," said Dhoni as per a report in

He further added it didn't really matter, who is the captain because he was never really in line to become the captain. He said it was a job or responsibility for him. Dhoni added that if the BCCI wanted to take away the responsibility of captainship from his shoulders he has no problem.
