Here is the list of blasts that rocked the country since 2005. On October 29, 2005, multiple bomb blasts hit markets in Delhi - leaving at least 61 dead and more than 200 injured.
On July 11, 2006, a series of explosions rock the lifeline of Mumbai - local trains. At the nation's financial capital about 209 people were killed and another 714 were wounded. Two months after the multiple Mumbai trains blast, bomb blasts targeted a Muslim cemetery in Malegaon on September 8, killing 37 people, leaving 125 others wounded.
Next year on February 19, 2007, a terrorist attack occurred near Panipat in the Samjhauta Express, a twice-weekly train service connecting Delhi and Lahore in Pakistan, killed at least 68 people and hundred others were injured. Same year on August 25, 2007, twin bombings in Hyderabad, killed at least 44 people and injured 54.
On July 26, 2008, a series of seventeen blasts in Ahmedabad, claimed at least 50 lives and injured more than 150 people. Less than two months after the Ahmedabad blast, a series of five bombs exploded in Delhi that killed 30 and injured 90 on September 13. Same year on October 30, a series of 13 blasts occurred in and around Guwahati, causing at least 77 deaths and 470 injuries.
On November 26, 2008, which can be defined as the one of the biggest terror attacks in the economic capital of the country, killing about 170 people and wounding more than 300. The attack lasted on November 29. On the night of 26/11, terrorist attacked at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, the Oberoi Trident, the Taj Mahal Palace & Tower, and the Nariman House including four other places.
On February 13, 2010 a bomb ripped across the famous German Bakery in Pune, a popular haunt of foreigners, killing 17 people and injuring 60 foreigners. This year, on July 13, in serial blasts, in Mumbai, claimed 26 lives and injured an additional 130 people.
