India on course to save Colombo test, Raina slams century
India now trails the Lankans by 260 runs. A jubilant moment for Raina came when he clinched his first maiden test hundred making him the 9th player from India to do so in a test match.

THE DAY 4 of the Colombo test started on a positive note for India with Sachin Tendulkar and Suresh Raina taking control of the inning. India now trails the Lankans by 260 runs. A jubilant moment for Raina came when he clinched his first maiden test hundred making him the 9th player from India to do so in a test match. Sachin and Raina maintained their pace to build up a partnership of 141 runs.

Both the players displayed sensible cricket and tackled the bowling of Dilhara Fernando,  who was continuously shooting short balls at both the batsmen. A refined game from both Tendulkar and Raina saw them driving India past 400 at the fourth day of the second test. Tendulkar's 145 and Raina's 104 truly showcased the batsmen's composure and calmness on the field.

The score board for the Indians as of now is 469 at the loss of 4 wickets in 134 overs.
