India-Sri Lanka test series: Another milestone achieved by R Ashwin
Well, after facing defeat in the first test, Team India led by Virat Kohli have won the second test against Sri Lanka with a remarkable comeback.
However, the Indian spinner and sensational bowler, Ravichandran Ashwin, during the fifth day of the second Test against Sri Lanka, took 5 wickets in the second innings.

Not only this, Ashwin has created a very special record as now he has become the highest Indian wicket taker in a series on Sri Lankan grounds in Test history.

It is noteworthy, that in this series, he averaged 16.35 and has grabbed 17 wickets at a real good economy rate of 3.19.

Another Indian bowler, Harbhajan Singh, who was the previous record holder, had in July 2008 taken 16 wickets in the Test series.

R Ashwin's haul of 5 wickets in the second innings happens to be his 12th time in his career. Also, he became the sixth highest Indian to take 5 wickets in an innings most times.

We wish to see many more glorious achievements from Ashwin in the near future.
