Moto GP, one of the premier bike competitions in the world is set to drive Indian fans crazy, as Buddh International Circuit (BIC) will host the first Moto GP race next season.
Moto GP is a premier motorcycling championship of the world. Top bikers from across the globe compete for the prestigious title. The level of competition is very high, similar to F1. It takes place in many other parts of the world
as well. India has also been officially added on its list. A total of 18 races have been schedules for this season.
Though the dates have not been formally announced, Indian Moto GP should be held during the month of March. So, if this is the case, next year, the Moto GP will start early, as Moto GP 2012 started last month only. It basically starts in the month of April. But, it not certain as to when would it exactly start. But, Delhi is very hot during the peak summer season, which is not good for neither the bikes nor the bikers.
India is seen as a huge market in the motorsport industry, hence apart from Moto GP, India may soon also host the World Superbike Championship, which could be a great accomplishment for BIC. It is being viewed as one of the best destinations, which has been liked by the racers themselves. The facilities are top class. Hence, it is no surprise, when organisers of top motorsports competition have kept India as another positive option.
There are many people in India, who are passionate about bikes. Hence, it could be a great opportunity for such kind of passionate bikers. They would be able to watch the best bikers of the world at fast pace, which the Indians have never been acquainted to.
