Muttiah Muralitharan is set to create history by picking up 800 test wickets as India came crashing down to 260 for the loss of 8 wickets in their first innings by lunch on the fourth day of the first test.

THE SECOND session of India Vs Sri Lanka test match has started with the fall of two wickets. As of now, Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid have taken the crease with Lasith Malinga bowling with his full might. The score in the second inning now stands at 68 at the loss of 2 wickets. India now trails with 177 runs with 8 wickets remaining.

The Sri Lankan bowlers lead by Muralitharan unleashed their wrath against Team India in the first session. Sri Lankan ace and one of the finest bowlers ever produced in the cricketing history, Muttiah Muralitharan picked up five wickets in the first inning. He is set to create history by picking up 800 test wickets as India came crashing down to 260 for the loss of 8 wickets in their first innings by lunch on the fourth day of the first test. In this match Muttiah picked by 5 wickets for 63 runs.

After Sri Lanka declared their first innings at 520 at the loss of 8 wickets, the visitors (Team India) has paid the price of its pathetic shot selection as a result of which India stands at 276 runs with no wicket left in hand.
