India Vs Sri Lanka Triangular Series final today
Team India is all set to avenge last match's crashing deafeat at the hands of host Sri Lanka in today's final of Triangular Series at Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium, to be played this afternoon.
TEAM INDIA is all set to avenge last match's crashing defeat  at the hands of host Sri Lanka in today's final of Triangular Series at Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium, to be played this afternoon. The Sri Lankans, will however be ready to face the Indian onslaught as their team is in good form and raring to have a go.

In the ongoing Triangular Series, Team India has won two matches, one each against Sri Lanka and New Zealand and lost two against the same opponents. The problem for India has been the fact that during the series,  Indian middle order has failed to capitalise on the chances. Opener Virender Sehwag, who scored 240 runs including a century and the infamous 99 not out against Sri Lanka, is the only ray of hope in today's final match.

However, where batting has failed, the bowlers have come up with some fine performances and both Praveen Kumar and Ashish Nehra have delivered the goods. In the last match against New Zealand, Munaf Patel also bowled well and picked three wickets. For captain MS Dhoni, the main concern would be the failure of all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja. He has not been able to show his class in even a single game either with bat or bowl. He may be replaced by Rohit Sharma in the final.

On the other hand, Sri Lankan batting has more depth a compared to India and it has performed well throughout the series. Every player has played its role and the bowlers, led by Malinga, have rattled the Indians consistently. Meanwhile, Sri Lanka's captain Kumar Sangakkara said in a pre-match press conference that India will be a threat in the final.

Indian and Sri Lankan captain,  MS Dhoni and Kumar Sangakkara, both agree about the importance of the toss at Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium, this afternoon. This fourth final within 12 months between this two Asian teams will start from 2:30 pm local time.
