Dravid is playing at a well made 45 runs, which included some classical shots to the fence on the leg side and one lofted six, which gave him much needed confidence. Yuraj also pitched in when it mattered most and is playing at 35 looking set for a big score. Both Indian players managed to handle Chanaka Welegedera after he struck through the top Indian batting order claiming three wickets in the morning. Both players started tentatively but managed to find their nick in time and played some delightful shots executed to perfection, while taking Indian score to 105. Both the batsmen took little risks and gave due respect to ace spinner Muttiah Muralitharan, but they did manage to cash on poor balls. Both Yuvraj and Dravid batted comfortably against Mathew Arnold and Rangana Herath, who is playing ahead of Ahantha Mendis.
