INDIA MANGAED a much-needed victory not before Sri Lanka gave them a run for their money. A modest total of 233, yet it took India 46.4 overs to cross the target. Sri Lanka looked like they had droopy shoulders in the end as no pressure was applied to the last pair, but full credit to Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin to see India through. Sri Lanka scored 233 runs for the loss of six wickets in 50 overs. Their main scorers were:
