Indian Association of Physics Teachers felicitates Dr Kishore for winning Commonwealth Award
On the close heels of Indian Physics Association (IPA) felicitating Dr Lalit Kishore for winning Findel-CASTME Award for the year 2018 for his work on language of mathematics, it is the turn of the Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT) to do the same by publicizing the news in their recent journal as depicted in the inset picture.

Commonwealth Association of Science Technology and Mathematics Educators (CASTME) as a UK-based management committee and regional branches in Africa, Asia, and Europe, links science, technology and mathematics (STM) educators across the Commonwealth countries.

Further, CASTME aims to enhance the teaching and learning of STM throughout the Commonwealth; relate STM education to its social and environmental contexts; and encourage the teaching of STM in an increasingly integrated way.

"The CASTME awards celebrate the creativity and energy of science teachers from around the world, in finding new and engaging ways to help their students learn Science, Technology or Mathematics,"  states  the awards scheme organizers while welcoming entries from teachers in any Commonwealth country who has a brilliant idea for teaching which can be shared with others across the world.

It is further informed that the CASTME would be proudly displays projects at conferences and events around the world.

Dr Kishore is currently working as a researcher at Disha Foundation in Jaipur and contributes to Merinews profusely as a citizen journalist .
