Indian boxers showed some outstanding performance in the Commonwealth Championships on Wednesday, and grabbed six gold medals.

INDIAN BOXERS showed great spunk and dished out some outstanding performance in the Commonwealth Championships on Wednesday, and grabbed six gold medals. It was an outstanding performance by the world number one Vijender Singh and his other fellow boxer Suranjoy Singh, Amandeep Singh, Jai Bhagwan, Paramjeet Samota and Dinesh Kumar.

It is also for the First time the Indian boxing team got sponsored by Monnet Steel Group. Besides this, all six including national coach Gurbax Sandhu were presented Hero Honda Hunk Bikes by the group’s chairman.

Apart from this, Percept Sports Management group gave cash award of Rs 25,000 to each boxer and signed Vijender and four others for a three-year brand endorsement deal. Apart from Vijender, other four are Suranjoy Singh, Dinesh kumar, Jai Bhagwan and Balwinder Beniwal would be managed by Percept Group. So finally these pugilists got some recognition from the corporate world, and this will not only help our budding boxers but also boost their confidence to perform well in the future and win medals for our motherland.
