Indian captain Dhoni hints towards secret behind Yuvraj Singh's ouster from World Cup team
Indian captain MS Dhoni has hinted towards a possible reason of omission of Yuvraj Singh from Indian team that is playing in the current World Cup. Dhoni has said that after the new field restriction rule that came into effect part-time bowlers like Yuvraj Singh has become ineffective.

This is seen as one of the reasons that Yuvraj Singh failed to become the part of the Indian team for World Cup 2015. In the last World Cup held in 2011 Yuvraj Singh had taken 15 wickets, thus played a crucial role in India's world cup success.

Although Yuvi's supporters were expecting him to become at least the part of the probable 30 for the World Cup seeing his impressive Ranji form, but the Indian Team management decided otherwise.

"If you see, after the rule change happened, Yuvi didn't bowl a lot. We must admit that once the rule change (field restriction) happened, it did affect his bowling although he is a regular with the ball in T20s. In the pre-field restriction days, Viru paaji, Sachin Paaji and Yuvi used to bowl a lot and we depended on them. But they were all part-timers and on good batting tracks, they would find it difficult to bowl well," MS Dhoni had said as reported by thehindu.com.

He further added,"Like Raina is a good option if there is some help from the wicket. Also, he bowls a good line to the left-handers. I felt I needed him during the Ireland game. Like Shikhar (Dhawan) and Rohit (Sharma) are also part-timers but I can only use them when conditions are conducive."

For a lot of people it seems to be fair as they think Yuvraj has not been picked now as his bowling won't be effective. But keeping in view the fact that the other all-rounders like Jadeja are not able to spread any magic so far, it would have been appropriate if Yuvi had given a last chance in this World Cup.

Who knows this might have proved to be a positive turn around for this courageous cricketer.
