After the miserable show put up by the Indian Test cricket team overseas in both England and in Australia, both seniors and newcomers have come under severe criticism including a demand of MS Dhoni's scalp.
HOW CAN India effect a turnaround is the question that is worrying the BCCI and its selectors. What would be a winning combination? Should the seniors be axed as they seem to have become a burden on the team? Are the younger players feeling uncomfortable in the company of the distinguished seniors or are the seniors suffering from an inferiority complex because they are failing to deliver time after time?

The subject is being hotly debated on every television news channel by ex-captains of India and the present captain MS Dhoni is being singled out for target practice. Apparently, he is a super captain in the shorter versions like the ODI and T-20 but an utter failure when it comes to Test cricket.
The critics should know that if one desire to have tasty and delicious pulao, the cook should be given proper ingredients otherwise the pulao would be a dish no one would relish. Similarly, if the players are not match fit and hide their injuries just to be in the team to get the monetary benefits, the captain can only sigh and hope for the best. By the same logic, if players ride piggyback on the team just to get a few runs or take a catch or bowl out a player to set a record or break an existing one, it defies the very spirit of the game of cricket. Unfortunately, Indian cricketers do not know when to call it a day!
