Indian film magazine Nosstalgiaaa just a click away
For the first time such a magazine has made an appearance and it is sure to make a good impression..
WHILE TECHNICAL e-magazines are available in plenty in India, what we lack is a virtual magazine of film and music. Nosstalgiaaa: a peek into the golden past wants to cover that vacuum and provide a virtual
world where the gone by golden era would be revived. Started in April 24, 2012 by Niilesh A Raje and Rajesh Subramanian, this 10 pages virtual magazine is dedicated to a cover story, Did you know section, editorial, tribute to the legends and book review.
From the cover story to book review everything would revolve around film and the golden era of film, as the name Nosstalgiaaa suggests. On the very first issue, the magazine is dedicated to the master film maker who believed, ‘it is so simple to be happy, but so difficult to be simple,’ Hrishikesh Mukherjee. Known for his mastery of taking day to day characters and giving them heroism, Mukherjee was a genius and the magazine pays a tribute to the man who gave us beautiful movies such as Khoobsurat, Golmal and Bawarchi.
Facts on Meena Kumari, Kundal lal Saigal and other such big names of Bollywood were also covered in the first issue. All in all, it is a magazine that promises a fulfilling experience to people who eat, drink, sleep and dream cinema and can’t get enough of the industry. For others it is a pleasant read, which one can always go for while travelling or waiting as it is just a click away.
