Indian Foreign Minister SM Krishna reads out wrong speech
SM Krishna, the Foreign Minister has let the country down at United Nations Security Council when he read speech of Portuguese Minister instead of his own! Such a mistake made mockery of India at an important international forum.
INDIAN FOREIGN Minister has let the country down at United Nations Security Council, when SM Krishna read the speech of Portuguese Minister instead of his own! Such a mistake made mockery of India at an important international forum. Such a careless person is not fit to be posted as Union Minister that too with important portfolio of Foreign Ministry.

India needs ministers who can deliver rather than being merely careless speech-readers. Main opposition party Bharatiya Janata Party has rightly pointed out to bitter fact that incompetence in ministerial tasks in India has reached to its optimum level.

Best is to change the system whereby experts rather than professional politicians may be made ministers by allowing only those to become ministers who might not have contested any elections in last say six years.

It is important that only those people, who are young, energetic and able to do work competently are appointed on key posts in the government as well as in the cabinet to ensure that decisions and policies are executed in a proper manner.

Krishna has been committing such faux pauses earlier also. He had read the background of his speech during a visit to Pakistan, causing many red faces.
