As reported by SME Times, Kumar said that Indian MSME has emerged as an ideal example. "Several least developed and emerging economies have sought help of India to develop their small industries," he added.
India has opened incubation centers in 12 countries, including Egypt, Zimbabwe and South Africa to train entrepreneurs and entered into agreements with 32 countries to help their MSMEs. Government is promoting MSMEs so that they can create their own market, downing Chinese market in India, the NSIC chief added.
NSIC is a Government of India Enterprise under Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME). For the last two decades Chinese goods have been ruling over Indian MSMEs' products.
