Indian team announced for Australia's tour, Kohli to lead team India in 1st Test
The much awaited Indian squad for the Test series down under has been announced. KL Rahul and Karn Sharma are the two new faces in the Indian team, which is going to be led by Virat Kohli in MS Dhoni's absence in the first Test, which is schedule to start on December 4. The regular skipper has been time to recover from his injury.
There are players like Suresh Raina who are making a comeback, for he has enjoyed a prolific run with the bat. If the player manages to find a spot in the Indian middle order, he needs to improve upon his batting while dealing with short pitch deliveries, which is his weak point and the world knows about it.

The Indian team has decided to go ahead with two wicket-keepers, Wriddhiman Saha and Naman Ojha, keeping in view Dhoni's comeback and also the lengthy tour of Australia. Though, the Indian skipper Dhoni is set to return to action for the second Test match, Wriddhiman Saha seems to be ready to take his place in the first Test at least.

The two newcomers such as KL Rahul and Karn Sharma have been selected for their consistent domestic season. One is not sure if Karn Sharma might get a chance with Ashwin and Jadeja being two premier spinners. While, KL Sharma might get a chance if the openers ? Dhawan and Vijay fail. The latter is under pressure to perform as well.

As far as the Indian team bowling is concerned, its looks balanced with Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohammed Shami, Ishant Sharma, Umesh Yadav, Varun Aaron bearing the responsibility of the pace department.

Rest of the players such as Dhawan, Rahane, Pujara, Jadeja, Ishant Sharma pick on their own. With India's dismal record in the bouncy pitches of Australia, India needs to be well prepared to face the chin music.
