Indo-Pak peace talks - The sham continues
India and Pakistan have been shackled in hatred ever since Independence and partition were achieved. Peace talks are an ongoing sham the public has been credulous enough to believe for so long. Will we too leave behind a legacy of hatred?
INDO-PAK relations have gone through a lot since 1947. Kashmir has been a bone of contention between the two nations. It has been a roller coaster ride full of ups and downs for the citizens of both the countries.

At the time of partition two separate nations - India and Pakistan were formed out of a single nation. Ever since the formation of two countries, there have been terrorist attacks in India where it was found that Pakistan did play a role be it planning the attacks or supporting the terrorists. Wars have been fought between the two countries, pacts have been signed, agreements have been made on various issues, transport between the two countries has been started, stopped and again started but there has not been any concrete result of these efforts.

The common man remains common whether in India or Pakistan. What they want is peace and no wars between the two countries. But I think it is the politicians who don’t want peace. For them it’s a political issue and they want to keep the pot of hatred and anger boiling for their own benefit. Peace talks are again to be held between the two nations but I don’t think there will be any positive outcome. I hope I am proved wrong. Tension between India and Pakistan is something that our grand parents saw and our grand children will also see. It has been going on and will carry on to our future generations. No solution can be seen. The future regarding all this is not very bright.
