Industrial Associations hopes Gurgaon to touch new heights of development under the new CM
Yesterday Manohar Lal Khattar from Bharatiya Janata Party took oath as new the Chief Minister of Haryana. He fought on Karnal constituency. Most of the CMs had developed their areas of the state in the past. On the formation of new government, Gurgaon based Industrial associations hope that the newly elected CM is well aware with Gurgaon's maximum contribution in the revenue of state government every year. Therefore, he will focus on the development of Gurgaon too.

On asking about future of Gurgaon under leadership of new Chief Minister, Praveen Yadav president of Gurgaon Udyog Association said, ''Manohar Lal Khattar will focus on an overall development of the entire state. He belongs to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), which is completely committed to the nation. There is no issue of dynasty rule now.

Gurgaon contributes a big part of the revenue to Haryana government every year. There are huge requirements for development. Therefore, it deserves overall development by the government. Significantly, Bharatiya Janata Party came to power with full majority at both national and state level. So, the state government has no excuse to defer the development work in Gurgaon.''

He also expressed his concerned that there is no relevant connectivity of roads, metro and transport between industries in Gurgaon. Apart from this, shortage of electricity has been the biggest problem across the district. New Gurgaon has little facilities but a big population resides in old Gurgaon, which suffers a lot due to lack of basic amenities.

Animesh Saxena president of Udyog Vihar Industries Association said, ''Gurgaon is the main source of revenue of the state government. Newly elected CM knows about it very well. Therefore he will not neglect the development works in the entire district."

S K Ahuja, secretary of Gurgaon chamber of commerce & industry (GCCI) said, ''New government should meet their economic development agenda by fine tuning the industrial policies. They should develop not only Gurgaon, but the entire state. They must simplify or make the working system transparent regarding industries development.''
