He emphasized on the need for the corporate sector to embrace change and keep it in mind while policies and projects are being designed. He said the Government must be flexible to change the terms of the projects.
Dr Paul Thomas, Founder and Director, DNA Definitive who traveled from the United Kingdom for this Conference spoke about the need for the organizations to be more innovative and resilient. He said change is a challenge for organizations and teams across.
Dr Thomas also interacted with the delegates at the conference. He spoke and motivated the audience to build trust and understanding and ingrain it into the business system. Dr Thomas has varied experience and knowledge in company development and has also spent many years managing companies in both private and public services.
Arjun Wallia, Chairman, CII Delhi State Council and Group Founder and Chairman, Securitas India and The Walsons Group spoke about building resilient and adaptable business structures that can ensure mitigation of risks. He said that this can only happen with the support of the people in an organization.
Rajesh Pandit, Head-Asset Services India, CBRE South Asia P Ltd said that the immediate environment in which an industry operated affects all stakeholders equally. He said that long standing issues as well as challenges, need to be tackled shouldering equal responsibility. If our individual businesses are to succeed, it is imperative that we all plan ahead together.
The speakers at the conference felt that the recent concepts and best practices must reach the consumers through use of technology, innovation, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and online trading applications. They also felt that organizations should look developing strong governance models.
The speakers also felt the need to develop and build institutes imparting education and programmes on Infrastructure Management. Almost 150 leading Facilities Managers and experts participated in the Conference.
