Injury haunts Indian cricket
As if the innings defeat was not enough, the Indian team has other issues to counter and it seems that the injury bug has permeated the Indian dressing room. After Tendulkar, skipper Kumble and offie Harbhajan have come under the fitness scanner.

INJURY WOES continue to haunt the Indian cricket. Captain Anil Kumble and Harbhajan Singh are the latest entrants to the list. The skipper, recovering from a groin injury, missed the practice session on Monday (April 7), in Ahmedabad. Giving him company was off spinner Harbhajan Singh, who is nursing a stomach bug.

The grueling net session saw wicketkeeper MS Dhoni wielding his willow. He, however, stayed away from the fielding practice.

Munaf Patel, who has replaced the out of form pacer RP Singh, joined the team and was sweating it out at the nets.

But there was no sign of the lanky pacer, Ishant Sharma, who is yet to join the side.

India trails the three-match series 0-1 and the third test starts from Friday (April 11), in Kanpur.
