As we all know, the princess is noted all over the world for her immaculate fashion sense and also her well chosen designers who deliver simple yet elegant styles for the royal gal. Thus it was no surprise that she decided to snub the Kardashian Kollection, given the fact that the mini skirts, figure hugging dresses and shimmery material were not her first or last choice of fashion.
Kim Kardashian, on the other hand wanted her family business to flourish in London as well and what better to go about it other than take the royal route. Thus in her latest visit to London, she gave a taste of her designs to Kate. Her belief was that if the princess was sighted in their Kollection then it would be a huge boost for their business in London. But her plans were thwarted when her clothes were promptly returned.
According to an insider, who spoke to Mail Online: “'Kate is hardly going to turn up for an event with the queen in a cheap leopard-print miniskirt or gold sequined jacket.”
In a recent magazine interview, Kim gushed about the fashion sense of Kate Middleton but her efforts seemed to have fallen flat on its face. A representative, however described as to why Middleton returned the clothes, “In general terms, the policy of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge is not to accept any unsolicited gifts unless the sender is known personally to His or Her Royal Highness. Any such gifts are returned to the sender with thanks and an explanation of Their Royal Highnesses' policy.” No one, however commented on the developments from Kim's side.
