Interfaith harmony only solution to world peace – religious leaders
Peace and harmony is key to economic development and social prosperity not only for India but for the world. Emphasizing on this an event was organized in Mumbai by Blossom Media titled 'Humanity First Conclave'. The event was attended by religious scholars, political, social and prominent businessmen from various faiths.

Blossom media's 'Harmony First Conclave was a support to the initiative of King Abdullah II of Jordon and to the resolution of United Nations to mark the first week of February as world interfaith harmony week.

Speaking at the event as a guest of honour, Edgard D Kagan, US Consul General, said: "Every religion teaches compassion and love with neighbors". He also quoted the names of religious scriptures.

Concurrent to Humanity First Conclave, people working for society and harmony were honoured with Mumbai Heroes award by the hands of Edgard D Kegan.

The religious leaders participating in the panel were from Islam, Christianity, Buddhism, Zoroastrian religion and Sikhism, Hindu Guru who was absent due his severe ill health. All the religious heads on the panel recited verses from their respective scriptures teaching respecting human they all spoke about harmony as the key source of peaceful co-existence in the era of conflict and ego tussle.

Reciting of Poetry was also arranged on the topic "celebrating interfaith harmony" Reputed members of the society presented their poem on the subject, Qaisar Khalid (IPS) – Inspector General of Police, Atika Farooqui - Creative Director Colors TV, Atul Agarwal Chairman MCHI – CREDAI.

Knighthood awarded Sir Dr. Huzaifa Khorakiwala, spoke in detail about his work and importance of interfaith harmony.

The event by Blossom Media was well supported by various city based NGOs.

Many other important  events were part of the conclave to create a big impact, signing of the harmony pledge, distribution of Harmony Plant, Picture with friends from different faiths and harmony dinner comprising dishes from different religion was organised
