Ipad on BestBuy: Tablet PC may be sold in retail chain
Many reports suggest that the Apple device may be available through retail chains like BestBuy. Though the company has not itself made any announcement regarding this, many people have been calling up BestBuy to know if it will sell the Apple Ipad.
EVEN AS the Ipad tablet launch took place, many were asking only one question - where they could buy ne of these devices. Though Steve Jobs had given all details including that it would be priced from $499 to $829, this was one detail that was glossed over when it said that the device would be available in two months.
It is being reasoned that this fascination for an Ipad from BestBuy is because the retail giant has a policy of no interest on items for 18 months, meaning a much discounted Ipad for tech lovers. Then there is also the fact, that one can easily purchase these items online from these retail chains.
One reason why people believe that the Ipad tablet PC may be available at Best Buy is because Apple had launched its revolutionary Ipod through retail chains like BestBuy and Walmart, setting new records in product sales.
Till now, neither BestBuy nor managers at its retail chains have issued any notice or announcement on whether the Ipad would be available in its stores.
