IPL 10 Prediction: Qualifier 2 – MI V/s KKR
Tonight at Bengaluru, Kolkata Knight Riders will face off with Mumbai Indians in Qualifier 2 of the IPL 2017.

Kolkata walk into today's game after winning the rain-affected Eliminator game against the Sunrisers Hyderabad on Duckworth-Lewis method on Wednesday.

On the other hand, Mumbai Indians play today's match after having squandered their opportunity of proceeding straight into the final after losing to Pune in Qualifier 1.

However, all that is done and dusted now, as today is another opportunity for both teams to secure a place in the final of IPL 2017. The winner of today's encounter will meet Rising Pune Supergiant in the final match on Sunday at Hyderabad.

While Gautam Gambhir-led KKR are back to their winning ways, Mumbai look favourites in today's encounter having won both their matches against Kolkata in the league stage.

However, what should be of concern to KKR is that with predictions of possible showers today, in case the match is called off due to rain, Mumbai will proceed to the final as they are ahead in the points table.

Although, KKR have a strong batting line up, they should remember how they had been reduced to 12/3 while chasing a modest 48 runs in 6 overs. It was their skipper who rescued them from dire straits.

Bowling is another area where KKR have looked vulnerable. Kolkata's bowlers would have to plug the gaps so that runs don't leak easily, as it has been the case in the previous two encounters against Mumbai.

On the other hand, Mumbai look a far more settled side with all round performances from their players like Rohit Sharma, Keiron Pollard and Bumrah. For today's match, Mumbai Indians are my pick as winners.
