IPL 2014 Preview: RR vs SH
Rajasthan Royals (RR) has had an impressive run in the tournament so far with five wins, while today's opponent, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SH) has not enjoyed a good run with four defeats. Sunrisers play Royals later tonight at Sardar Patel stadium, Motera, Ahmedabad, where Hyderabad needs to register a win and increase their chances of progressing ahead in the competition.

Of late, Rajasthan Royals has enjoyed a good run in the competition, where they have won four matches in a trot against some strong teams including Kolkata and Bangalore. Hence, they would like to maintain this winning streak of theirs in the competition.

With batsmen such as Ajinkya Rahane, Shane Watson and Sanju Samson contributing majorly with the bat, Rajasthan have looked a good outfit. Rahane is the highest scorer for RR with 224 runs, followed by Sanju Samson and Shane Watson who have scored the same number of runs in the competition -164 runs. These players are expected to once again help Rajasthan pick yet another victory.

But, these batsmen are not going to find it easy against Hyderabad bowlers, which includes Steyn, Ishant Sharma, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Irfan Pathan and Sammy – all have great international experience in their kitty to outplay the RR batsmen. In spite of these quality bowlers, they have not been very instrumental, as only Kumar figures in the top 10 highest wicket takers of the tournament so far. Dale has not been able to uproot many wickets, but has had a decent run with six wickets so far, low for his standards.

On the other hand, it is the lesser known PV Tambe, RR's bowler, who has hogged the limelight, as he has scalped 12 wickets so far. If SH batsmen such as David Warner, Shikhar Dhawan and Aaron Finch hold on to their wickets to Tambe, they can have a greater chance to capitalise in other bowlers of RR who have not been impressive as Tambe.
