IPL 2014 review: MI vs RCB
Mumbai Indians was the worst performer in the UAE leg of the Indian Premier League 2014, where they did not win a single match, but back home in India, they defeated Kings XI Punjab, where they were undefeated in the competition till then. Mumbai would want to carry the same form later tonight, when they battle it out against Royal Challengers Bangalore.

RCB, which possesses a well balanced unit in the competition has not hit top gear, still, they are decently placed with six points from six matches, better than Mumbai's record of two points from six matches.

RCB would want their star players such as Yuvraj Singh, Virat Kohli, Gayle, de Villiers etc to showcase their talent and script another win and move ahead in the standings table. AB de Villiers has been their best performer in the competition with 162 runs followed by Yuvraj with 130 odd runs. But, it is Virat Kohli's performance, which has been very disappointing. The skipper needs to get his act together and come up with a great performance and set an example for his team.

Mumbai Indians is another heavyweight franchise, but has been the biggest disappointment. They need to show their true colours in the Indian leg if they are to progress in the further stage of the competition. Kieron Pollard has been their best batsman with 160 runs, where Ambiti Rayudu has also been decent, but it is their bowlers, who have not done well barring Malinga. Hence, other bowlers need to come up the ranks for Mumbai Indians to come up with a better result.

But, RCB with their bowlers – M Starc, V Aaron, Y Chahal have been impressive with their bowling performances with  9, 10 and 7 wickets respectively. Hence, they would once again depend on their bowlers to deliver the goods and help RCB walk away with the match.
