IPL 2016: RCB unveil their new team jersey and Virat is all excited about it
Just two days before the start of IPL 2016, Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore unveiled their new team jersey for their fans to see on Facebook.

The image shared on the social media site shows Virat Kohli wearing the home jersey and AB de Villiers wearing the away jersey. Both jerseys are stylish looking with a new combination of red and black.

In earlier seasons of IPL, RCB used to wear a red and golden jersey. The Royal Challengers would be hoping that the new kit brings in some good luck for them, as they are yet to win the IPL.

RCB start their IPL 2016 campaign with a game against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the M Chinaswamy Stadium in Bangalore on Tuesday, April 12. RCB has the best ever chance of reversing their fortunes as their skipper Virat Kohli is in cracking form and is also ranked as the No.1 T20 International player.

In earlier seasons of IPL, Kohli used to open with Chris Gayle, but with Shane Watson coming in, Kohli may drop himself at No.3, a place at which he bats in the Indian team.

The star studded batting lineup of RCB sure looks good with the likes of Virat Kohli, Shane Watson, Chris Gayle and AB de Villiers. But however, in the bowling department RCB received a setback when Mitchell Starc was ruled out of IPL 2016. In another blow Samuel Badree injured his shoulder in the ICC World Twenty20 final. Badree is expected to return soon after his recovery.
