IPL 2017: Virat updates fans about his rehab post shoulder injury, thanks them for their 'unconditional love'
The Indian Premier League (IPL) and the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) both were dealt a massive blow when it was found out that India skipper Virat Kohli will be missing the start of its 2017 edition.

This news was a big disappointment for the fans who had been looking forward to Virat wearing the RCB jersey and rocking the nation along side the likes of AB de Villiers and Chris Gayle. Nevertheless, Virat has eased fears by giving an update on his comeback and his injury. His injury is to be assessed in the second week of April but he is training hard to get his full fitness back. Virat thanked all of his fans for the support that he got.

He posted a video where the fans got to know that the rehab was going fine and that he was training pretty hard to return to the field. He assured that he will be back soon.

"My rehab's going well. Training hard to get back onto the field, can't wait. A big shout out to the fans, just wanna say that I'll be back soon and in the meantime please keep supporting RCB and make sure we have a good start," Virat said.

Virat had injured his right shoulder on the first day of the Ranchi Test, the third Test of the series against Australia due to which he had to miss the decisive last Test against Australia, which India eventually managed to win comfortably.

The BCCI, two days ago, said that Virat will be undergoing rehabilitation for the injury sustained during the third Test.

"Mr. Virat Kohli – The Indian captain will undergo rehabilitation after sustaining an injury to his right shoulder. His recovery will be assessed in the second week of April to determine an exact return to play date for IPL 2017," stated a BCCI press release.

The Royal Challengers Banglore start their IPL 2017 campaign on April 8 against the Delhi Daredevils at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
