IPL 9 Match preview: Match 20 – Table-toppers Kolkata Knight Riders meet Rising Pune Supergiants
The home team Pune will host table-toppers KKR in match number 20 of Vivo IPL 2016 to be played at the MCA International Stadium in Pune on Sunday night.

Rising Pune Supergiants have lost three consecutive matches after they had beaten the defending champions Mumbai Indians in their opening game. RPS failed to score a steep target of 185 set by the Royal Challengers Bangalore on Friday night, falling short by 13 runs.

Bowling is also a worry for skipper Dhoni and Coach Stephen Fleming. RPS bowlers have only managed to pick up 10 wickets in the last three matches, while leaking 9 runs per over.

The Supergiants might even be compelled to change their batting after Kevin Pietersen's injury in the last game. Possible replacements could be Mitchell Marsh or Albie Morkel.

Kolkata Knight Riders are in a far better position with three wins under their belt and all by convincing margins and while chasing targets.

KKR have only lost 1 wicket in the Powerplay overs in their four played matches so far. Moreover, their bowlers have been consistent by conceding only 6.88 runs per over. While KKR pacers have yielded 15 wickets, their spinners have accounted for 11 wickets.

With two of the most experienced skippers of the T20 format, MS Dhoni and Gautam Gambhir coming face to face, Sunday's match promises to be a thrilling encounter.

On current form, Kolkata Knight Riders look to be a better side in today's match.
