IPL match 5 preview: KKR vs CSK - the Lions are back in their lair
After registering some thrilling wins in their respective season openers, Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders will be up against each other in match 5 of VIVO IPL 2018 to be played on Tuesday night at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

CSK will be back in their den, as they play their first home game in IPL 2018 after a two-year absence.

CSK has been dealt a blow though, all-rounder Kedar Jadhav who gave a match winning performance against the Mumbai Indians has been ruled out for the rest of the tournament due to hamstring injury.

Brimming with confidence, the "Men in Yellow" will aim to continue their winning momentum although they face tough opponents in today's game, the Kolkata Knight Riders, who too have started season 11 of the IPL on a winning note.

Although Kolkata don't have a big star in their ranks but their younger players are more than making up for it with their energy and enthusiasm. The home team must also be wary of the threat posed by KKR opener Sunil Narine who can turn a match around in a span of few overs.

After making an easy meal of Royal Challengers Bangalore on Sunday KKR might explore some changes in a bid to tighten up their loose ends.

The surface at Chepauk is likely to assist spin and both sides are strong here with quality spin bowlers in the pack.

Away from the field, there have been protests by a handful of fringe groups against conducting IPL matches in the city as they demand formation of Cauvery Management Board and are threatening to disrupt proceedings.
