IPL Preview 2014: DD Vs RR
Delhi Daredevils has been the worst team in IPL 2014 with 8 losses from 10 matches, hence they have no chances of progressing into the next stage of the competition. While, their opponents for today, Rajasthan Royals are in decent form, as they have won six out of the ten matches so far, resulting to 12 points on the standings table.

Rajatshan Royals – a united unit

The match is of huge importance to RR as they need to win some more matches to confirm their entry into the last four. Other teams such as Kolkata and Hyderabad will take advantage of the situation, if they lose their matches.

Rajasthan Royals may not possess many stars in their team, but still they have managed to come up with consistent performance and beat some strong teams in the competition. Their skipper, Shane Watson has been the driving force behind Rajasthan Royals, leading the team tremendously well.

Ajinkya Rahane has been the best batsmen for Rajasthan Royals scoring 252 runs, followed by Shane Watson, KK Nair and the rest. These players have played as one unit, which has led to the team's success. In the bowling department, Tambe has been a major revelation with 14 wickets, while other bowlers such as Rajat Bhatia, Richardosn have also chipped in with some important wickets.

Delhi Daredevils – Team performance below par

With quality players such as Karthik, Pietersen, Murli Vijay, Duminy, Mohammed Shami, Kallis in their ranks, Delhi has failed to act as a unit. Though players such as Duminy and Karthik have performed decently well with the bat, but they have failed to come up consistent performances in the competition.

Bowlers play an important part in the T20 arena and their bowlers have not performed well. None of their bowlers have reached double figures mark, in terms of wickets. Unadkat has been their best bowler with six wickets, which is not justified for such a strong competition. Other bowlers such as Parnell, Nadeem and Shami have taken five wickets each.

These players are great individual talent, but when it has come to deliver as a unit, they have been below par, which has led to the current position in the standings table.
