He made his feelings known that Iran was not happy with Barack Obama as the leader of America. So much so that he said that the effect of the elections doesn't affect him.
RIDICULING THE American voting process, the Iranian president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in a meeting has said that the US policies must be changed. According to him, it is the 'battleground of capitalists.' The meeting took place in Indonesia's island resort of Bali and went on for two days.
Ahmadinejad said: “Coming or going, winning or losing is not important. The important thing is the policies and behavior and this behavior must change. We must seek the day when the US military bases are dismantled around the world and the spirit of intervention and interference in other countries on the path of the US politicians would be turning into a spirit of friendship and respect for the nation.”
He indirectly criticized the re-election of Barack Obama as the president saying that the leader makes no difference to him and openly criticized the price of the campaign. He also stated that the meaning of democracy has changed and these days democracy means the ruling of majority group over minority group.
While other leaders were not of the similar opinion, Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono said that mutual respect and diversity are the founding stones for democracy.
