IRFAN PATHAN is all set to play another innings. But this time, for a change it would not be on the cricket ground. The Indian all rounder is all set to tie a knot with his long-time friend Shivangi Dev. Shivangi is the daughter of an Indian diplomat in Australia and Pathan has been knowing her since the last six years. It is believed that initially there was some resistance from both the families but later on both the families gave a go ahead.

Shivangi, a chartered accountant in Australia, also teaches dance to children. She had visited Pathan's home twice and according to Irfan shes a very good dance teacher and also has a major fan following in her dance school, after he had visited her school.

Pathan first met Shivangi in Canberra some six years ago during a practice match. An excited Pathan said that the marriage would take some time but the venue would be Vadodara. He added that the marriage would be a traditional wedding and he was the one who had proposed her for marriage about three years ago, when he was in Vadodara, reported a leading website.

Irfan said that once when he was in Vadodara he had called her up and had asked her if she would marry him and he got a nod from her. The Indian Cricket team all rounder said that after initial resistance, now both of their families have accepted their relationship.

However, his father, Mehmood Khan Pathan clarified that the cricketer will have to wait till brother Yousuf finds a match.
