Is Green India Initiate still taking initiatives?
The founder of the website Greenindiainitiative Ankit Singh Gehlot, refused to say anything about the progress of their initiative for Green India. The initiative began in 2007 with the motto 'One citizen One tree can lead to green India'.

'GREEN INDIA Initiative' which claims to be India's No.1 online initiative for encouraging people to plant trees seems to be no more active in the targets that it promised in the begining.

A reporter visited the official website greenindiainitiative where the last update was on 15th May 2011. The website was incomplete and under-construction.

In December 2012, this initiative is going to complete 5 years after it began operations in December 2007. When we tried to seek an explanation from Ankit Singh Gehlot, Founder of Green India Initiative, he was unavailable for any interaction. Our email to their chief email address also yielded no results.

Does it mean they are no more serious in their initiative? Though publicly they have mentioned that they are not an NGO, and are not taking any money. But they must be serious for the initiative.

"May be money concern is the concern which lead to inactivity of this initiative," says Anil Singh an internet user from New Delhi.
