Is Kejriwal afraid of NaMo to fight for Varanasi seat?
Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal has great ambitions and to fulfill his ambitions, he has not only sacrificed his Chief Minister’s Chair in Delhi, but also sacrificed the goodwill and credibility generated by him during the Anna Movement. During the Delhi Elections, his game plan was to somehow target Sheila Dikshit and Congress Government on charges of corruption.

To substantiate his charge, he constantly kept waving the 370 pages document to everyone saying that once he comes to power in Delhi, Sheila Dikshit will be jailed. Since Kejriwal was contesting the election for the first time and had no previous record, people believed him to be an honest social activist who genuinely wants to clean the politics and set the system in order.

The expectations from the people of Delhi were understandable as people were really worried about the increasing corruption. The mandate, which followed in favour of Kejriwal giving his party 28 seats was the result of these growing expectations from the public.

Unfortunately Kejriwal misinterpreted this mandate of people of Delhi and took everyone for granted. From the very first day, he was under the wrong impression that something wrong has happened to him and his party deserved an absolute majority, not just 28 odd seats. He kept saying that most of the people did not vote for AAP thinking it as a non-serious player.

Had these persons voted for his party, he would have got an absolute majority. However, when he was given a chance to govern the Delhi Government, he remained confused most of the time and quit the Government, before he and his Government was further exposed on all fronts for his misrule and non-performance.

Now Kejriwal wants to repeat the performance of Delhi in Varanasi against BJP’s PM candidate Narendra Modi, unmindful of the fact that neither Varanasi is Delhi nor Modi is Shiela Dixit. It will be unwise to even compare the political situation of Delhi with Varanasi. The people of Delhi have voted Kejriwal and his party without seeing their performance. The people of Varanasi have seen the misrule and anarchy of AAP Government's 49 days tenure in office.

They have also noted how Kejriwal who was showing 370 pages document to trap Sheila Diksht, went back from his words, once he assumed the power with the support of that very political outfit, which he kept opposing for the last 2 years. People of Varanasi are well within their right to ask Kejriwal, what happened to the 370 pages document, on the basis of which he won the Delhi Election ?

Whether it was a part of a pre-scripted  game-plan that after the Government formation, Kejriwal will quit the Government and Sheila Dikshit will be appointed as Governor, providing her the immunity from all types of prosecutions ? People of Delhi may not have raised these questions, but the people of Varanasi will definitely ask these uncomfortable questions.

Kejriwal knows very well that he is going to be grilled by the people of Varanasi for his infamous 49 days misrule of Delhi. He is fearing to contest the election from Varanasi and is looking for some escape route to opt out of the Varanasi Election.

That is why, he is stating that he will first visit Varanasi and ask the people of Varanasi whether or not he should contest from there. He never did it when he contested from Delhi, so what's the need for taking people’s opinion for contesting Varanasi election?  Any sensible person would only conclude that it is the fear factor of Modi, which has forced Kejriwal to say that he will contest from Varanasi only after consulting the people of Varanasi.
